Joris More-Chevalier defended his thesis on the magnetoelectric effect in Terfenol-D/PZT thin films composites at Université de Caen Normandie in CRISMAT laboratory in France in 2015. He got a postdoctoral position in 2016 at the Department of Analysis of Functional Materials of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, in Prague, in Czechia. Since 2022, he has held a scientific position in the Institute of Physics. He is currently working on Nitride films for energy harvesting, and on black metal coatings for sensor applications.
